He collided head on with a car driven by Elizabeth Oldrid, 47, with her 16-year-old daughter and daughter’s 15-year-old friend in tote. Oldrid was pronounced dead at the scene. Both young women were taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver, Timothy George, was supposedly speeding in excess of 70 mph in a 45 mph zone. He then attempted to pass other vehicles, eventually swerving into oncoming traffic.
